City Hall is hiring PR firms again

city-hall-flags.jpgRemember when the city was so broke, and so raw over the Fleishman-Hillard controversy, that retaining outside public relations firms was deemed bad form? No more, apparently. The city is looking for someone to "provide the Los Angeles City Council Redistricting Commission with assistance in its outreach and media efforts." Yes, the new panel that Councilwoman Jan Perry believes has already drawn up new district maps in secret needs a flack on a four-month contract for as much as $100,000. Bids are due on Friday.
