If you were caught in traffic near Sunset Boulevard between Beverly Hills and Brentwood between 9:30 and 10 a.m., that was just President Obama heading for his helicopter. The motorcade left the Beverly Wilshire at 9.39 a.m., according to the White House media pool report, and delivered Obama to the chopper parked beside Barrington Avenue in Brentwood. By 10:12 Air Force One was rolling, the report concludes.
