Diana Nyad ran into some Portguese Man-of-War and endured their stings, but her team says she is still swimming toward Florida and gaining strength. "Her rest times per hour are less and less...her stroke is beginning to be stronger," says her blog. Nyad began her latest attempt at a Cuba to Florida swim last night.
