Meteor streaks across SoCal sky *

People spotted the glowing object moving west to east at least as far away as Phoenix, which Curt Kaplan of the National Weather Service in Oxnard said on KCAL suggests it was very high in the sky. The "mystery light" is the talk of TV news, of course.
