Arraignment for Kinde Durkee, the Burbank campaign treasurer accused of stealing as much as $677,000 from at least one of the hundreds of Democrats she works for, was postponed until Friday. She remains in jail without bail. Her lawyer, Daniel Nixon, said he anticipates a not guilty plea and that the case will be moved to Sacramento, where the criminal investigation originated. Durkee was arrested Friday on a federal complaint that she defrauded Santa Ana Assemblyman Jose Solorio.
