County probation chief out

LA County Probation Chief Donald Blevins has been informed that he's no longer needed, according to Celeste Fremon at Witness L.A., who cites "multiple sources inside and close to the LA County Board of Supervisors offices." She says that Blevins found out last week and that the Supervisors discussed the exit terms in a closed-door meeting this morning. Sensitive timing given that Probation is due to pick up a whole bunch of new responsibilities from the state.
