Key witness in Bryan Stow beating case suddenly dies

Boy, this one keeps getting stranger and stranger. LAT reports that Matthew Lee, who was with Stow for the home opener and had been considered an important witness, died Sunday after an allergic reaction to nuts. The coroner has not determined a cause of death. From the Times:

Officials have said they have physical evidence in addition to the evidence provided by eyewitnesses to the beating. Los Angeles police detectives said Monday they were trying to find additional Giants fans from the Bay Area who were assaulted by the suspects.
