Nyad was vomiting when she was pulled onto her support boat at 12:45 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday. The 61-year-old had begun the swim 29 hours earlier in Havana, but could not continue through swells, shoulder pain and asthma. She had gotten about halfway to the Florida coast. "I am not sad. It was absolutely the right call," she said to CNN.
