Officer Ryan Stringer of the Alhambra Police Department was responding to a robbery call early this morning when his patrol car collided with another from the department. Both officers were taken to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena with serious injuries. Stringer died at the hospital. He had been with the department for about two years.
