Sunday night video: Chelsea Hotel, 1988

This popped up tonight on Facebook: Leonard Cohen, Perla Batalla and Julie Christensen in San Sebastian in 1988, singing about Janis Joplin.

Batalla and Christensen both live in Ojai and perform. Batalla sang in Reno a few nights ago and is headed for a gig in Austin in July. Christensen will be at the Ojai Center for the Arts on July 24 and is raising money on Kickstarter for a new album of Americana.
