Anthony Brooklier has been in the news recently as the lawyer for Giovanni Ramirez, the parolee who the LAPD thinks is a top suspect in the Bryan Stow beating at Dodger Stadium. His name also shows up in an ABC story out of Sacramento about a bill that seeks to take away the drivers and professional licenses of taxpayers who owe big money to the state Franchise Tax Board. Technology millionaire Halsey Minor tops the state's list of delinquent taxpayers, at more than $14 million. Actress Pamela Anderson owes $600,000, says the story. Between them is Brooklier, who reportedly owes $760,000. The lawyer "said in a statement he's been contacting them for years trying to work this out."
