Blood-stained Dodgers jersey linked to Bryan Stow **

NBC 4 reports tonight that police have a jersey with blood stains that was dropped off at a dry cleaners. DNA testing has reportedly linked the blood to Dodger Stadium beating victim Bryan Stow. However, Channel 4 says an LAPD source told them the jersey does not belong to jailed suspect Giovanni Ramirez, but police do think he brought the shirt to the cleaners. Anthony Brooklier, Ramirez's lawyer, said his client "doesn't wear clothes that require dry cleaning." Witnesses say one of the Stow beating suspects wore a white Dodgers jersey. Patrick Healy will have details tonight at 8 and 11 p.m.

* Noted: KNBC reporter Robert Kovacik frames the story via tweet as showing why the LAPD "may have the right suspect" in Ramirez. He anchored the report at 8 p.m.

** Not tied to Stow?: L.A. Times sources say the blood has not been linked to Stow.
