Jeff Conaway, 60, the actor from "Grease" and "Taxi" known to recent fans of "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew." At Encino Tarzana Medical Center.

Margo Dydek, 37, former player with the Los Angeles Sparks and WNBA record-holder. Of a heart attack in Brisbane, Australia, while pregnant with her third child.

Irene Gilbert, 76, co-founder of the the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre. Of natural causes.

Donald Kubly, 93, the president of Art Center College of Design who moved the campus from Los Angeles to Pasadena. Of natural causes.

Dana Brand, 56, "the Proust of Mets bloggers." Of a pulmonary embolism at a hospital in Danbury, Conn., immediately after taking a heart stress test.

Tom West, 71, the computer engineer who led the team featured in Tracy Kidder’s book “The Soul of a New Machine.” At home in Westport, Mass.
