Soboroff gets feisty with Larry Mantle

It's not very often that you hear a guest on KPCC's "Airtalk" get almost snarky with host Larry Mantle, but these are desperate times at Dodger Stadium. The guest was new Dodgers Vice Chairman Steve Soboroff. The topic as billed was the future of the Dodgers. But Soboroff clearly wanted to use his time to make listeners think of Frank McCourt as the victim of an underhanded scheme by Major League Baseball. Soboroff said the announced investigation into McCourt's managing of the Dodgers is a sham with a predetermined outcome — the investigators "come into the office at noon" and just watch games, he alleged — and that the only time he can find commissioner-appointed monitor Tom Schieffer is when he finds him sitting in the stands. Soboroff on the MLB investigation:

What's happening here is so obvious. They are cutting off our air supply, and our air supply is money.

Larry wasn't buying any of it. Listen here.
