Veronique de Turenne breaks some personal news today at Here in Malibu. After 16 years, she has sold her home on the bluff above Paradise Cove — where she has greeted the dawn over the Pacific many mornings. (She can say that.) The home once belonged to the late Times publisher and Cove surfer Otis Chandler. Veronique is moving inland a few miles — 15 minutes' drive up Kanan Dume Road, she puts it. She will continue posting here at LA Observed, but she'll now call her blog Here in the Malibu, in accordance with the area's rancho roots. Read Yep, I sold my house.
