Planning ahead

Deborah Vankin of the L.A. Times has a party for her new graphic novel, "Poseurs," at Skylight Books. Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

"God of Carnage” opens April 13 at the Ahmanson Theatre, with the original Tony Award-nominated Broadway cast of Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Marcia Gay Harden.

The Kings squeaked into the NHL playoffs and will play games 3 and 4 at home against San Jose on April 19 and 21. If game six is necessary, it will be at Staples Center on April 25. A Lil Wayne concert set for April 21 will be rescheduled.
