An LAPD officer called CBS Outdoor 18 months ago wondering if they might take down the giant gang insignia on the back of one of their billboards facing Glendale Boulevard in Echo Park. After noticing that it was still there, he let blogger Jesus Sanchez know at The Eastsider LA. He asked CBS Outdoor what was up, and now the big FTW has been taken down. "Behold, the power of the blogosphere," says Curbed LA.
