The movie version of Michael Connelly's 2005 bestseller stars Matthew McConaughey as L.A. defense attorney Mickey Haller, who eschews an office and operates (in the book) out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car. Haller defends a rich Beverly Hills playboy played by Ryan Phillippe. Marisa Tomei, William H. Macy Josh Lucas and John Leguizamano also show up, as does a lot of Los Angeles scenery. The film, directed by Brad Furman from a screenplay by John Roma, opens March 18. Here's the trailer.
