Finke story on the Today Show? *

An NBC source says that "Today" will do a pre-Oscars piece about (or with?) Deadline's Nikki Finke in the 7:30 a.m. half-hour on Friday's show. Lee Cowan in Los Angeles is said to be the correspondent. Finke on Wednesday posted a cease-and-desist letter her lawyers sent to The Wrap, accusing the rival site of taking her scoops. The Wrap's Sharon Waxman, a frequent verbal sparring partner with Finke, pshawed the controversy.
