The travel website Oyster.com has posted a feature exposing the promo photos of hotel pools that leave out some essential information. At the Sofitel in Los Angeles, across Beverly Boulevard from Beverly Center, all that's left out is the giant shopping center looming right beyond the patio wall. "We understand that you'd probably rather not advertise for Macy's on your own website -- and we understand you'd rather not advertise the fact that Macy's is right there, bumpin' up against your pool," the site says. "But it is. It is right there. You can frame it out of the photos on your website all you want, but we know it's there." That's Oyster's accurate photo above.
