The Santa Monica Mirror's Slav Kandyba found out the hard way that unpaid parking tickets can be a bummer in Los Angeles. He posted video of a city crew preparing to tow his car away, and radioing to the LAPD for help because he allegedly impeded their work. It's not clear in the video how that turns out. But there might also be a question about the disabled placard on his dash.
