In the video, LA Observed's Judy Graeme goes through LACMA's exhibit on fashions of the 1700's and 1800's with Marlene Stewart, a costume designer on films such as "Ali," "The Doors" and "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian." A stickler for historic accuracy in costumes, Stewart revels in seeing the real thing and talks about her choices with performers like Meg Ryan and Madonna. We plan to do more of these video visits around the city. More on Stewart and the LACMA exhibit at Native Intelligence.
