Republican Steve Cooley's lead in the race for attorney general stands at 19,189 in this this morning's update by the Secretary of State. He had been a little higher over the weekend. Reps for Democrat Kamala Harris caution there is still a lot of ballots to count and say Cooley's lead is the result of votes coming in from counties he won, but not yet from Los Angeles and others with a lot of Harris votes.
