It's been a year since dozens of Los Angeles writers, artists and officials decamped to Guadalajara for a week of books, food and celebration of L.A. Next week, J. Michael Walker will make a return visit to la Feria Internacional del Libro, representing the L.A. contingent to reflect on the year. His book with Veronique de Turenne of Here in Malibu, Waiting for Foreign: LA Writers on (and in) Guadalajara, will be the focal point.
