Both the New York Times and the Chicago Tribune are reporting tonight that the Tribune company board is likely to seek the resignation tomorrow of CEO Randy Michaels. The reports tonight are that the Tribune's board has lost confidence in Michaels, and that me may offer his own resignation at a meeting tomorrow. Innovations chief Lee Abrams' resignation for his own boorish behavior was accepted last week.
