Juan Pierre, now on the White Sox, reached base far more than any Dodger hitter — and with a better on-base percentage than Matt Kemp, James Loney or Casey Blake. The Dodgers finished up today with a losing record while the Padres and Giants played out a hugely entertaining series for the division championship up in San Francisco. Some nice Sunday moments: Joe Torre's final game with the Dodgers, and Brad Ausmus retiring after 18 seasons at #7 on the all-time list for games played by a catcher.
