Patty Fox, a longtime media commentator on fashion and the former fashion director of Divine Design, died Sunday of ovarian cancer, according to California Apparel News. A former model with the John Robert Powers agency, Fox had been Western regional fashion director overseeing 14 Saks Fifth Avenue stores and guided Beverly Hills retailer Fred Hayman's annual Oscars fashion show. She was also a member of the Angel City Press family, authoring "Star Style: Hollywood Legends as Fashion Icons,” published in 1995, and “Star Style at the Academy Awards,” published in 2000.
