The National Pipeline Mapping System website lets you search for the natural gas main lines near you, but in the aftermath of the San Bruno tragedy it is being overloaded with requests. "The NPMS Website is experiencing extremely high traffic, and, as result, the response time may be longer than usual. Please check again at later time. Sorry for any inconvenience," a note says.
