Jon Fairbanks joined the staff of Councilman Bill Rosendahl today. "Jon is a journalist with experience in writing, photography, television production/ broadcasting, and online media," says the announcement by chief of staff Mike Bonin. "He most recently wrote for a travel blog, and has worked as a freelance journalist, television reporter and news anchor. He was as a political reporter in Baton Rouge for three years, and regularly reported, edited and produced broadcast news stories. Like all good things, Jon has roots in New England, having worked and attended college in Vermont. He most recently lived in San Diego and is looking for new digs here Los Angeles." Bonin promises a "new and improved communications plan" coming soon.
