Musician Kenny Edwards to get medical airlift

edwards-ronstadt.jpgEdwards, a longtime session player in L.A. who was a member of Linda Ronstadt's band The Stone Poneys in the 1960s, needs a medical airlift from Denver to Santa Barbara for treatment of cancer. Friends put out a call for donations from the industry and fans, and his website announced today that the funds have come through. "Thank you everyone for making miracles happen! Air Life will be taking Kenny from Denver to CA via air ambulance on Friday Aug 13th!" More: Crawdaddy.com, Pollstar
