Roski won't talk about Downtown NFL stadium

Ed Roski, the real estate developer who wants to build an NFL stadium in the City of Industry, made his first comments to the media since a rival stadium project emerged in Downtown Los Angeles. But he declined to go there, saying only he has a good relationship with Tim Leiweke, the AEG executive floating the Downtown idea, and that the Industry plans are coming along but were slowed down by labor troubles within the National Football League. "We are just focusing on our deal," Roski told the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. "We think we have the location that services all of Southern California."

Noted: The story was reporter James Wagner's last one for the Tribune. He says he's moving east to cover high school sports for the Washington Post and is tweeting today from the road in Arizona.
