LAPD officers arrested Daniel Molnar last week after a Mayor Villaraigosa staffer said he called in a threat to "tell [Villaraigosa] that I'm going to take him out." The City Attorney declined today to press charges, citing lack of evidence, but the mayor obtained a restraining order requiring Molnar to stay at least 100 yards from City Hall and the mayor's home, and not to communicate with the mayor or his staff.
