Qewz is a technology-driven slice on the day's news, vowing to gather various angles on big stories and include left, right, middle, upper, lower, etc. For instance, the front page now features a BBC story on BP's deposed CEO Tony Hayward alongside other perspectives labeled White House, Mainstream Media, Washington Pols and Offbeat. The flackage says that sources were carefully evaluated selected; the site's technology will take over from there to assure multiple views are presented. Curiously, the press release declares that Qewz "won’t filter views on the news for consumers," when a filter is all that it is. Lynda Gorov, the former Los Angeles bureau chief for The Boston Globe, is the chief editorial human.
