Villaraigosa and Trutanich patch it up over budget cuts

Is anybody surprised? Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and City Attorney Carmen Trutanich reportedly met last night and came to an agreement that essentially splits the difference on budget cuts for the latter's office. "We sat down and it was very friendly," Trutanich tells the L.A. Times. Now the City Council will perform its part in the play.
