Santa Barbara writer David Freed is scheduled to be on NBC's "Today" show this morning to talk about his May profile in the Atlantic of Steven Hatfill, the virologist who the FBI mistakenly targeted as an anthrax suspect. "Hatfill lost his job and his friends, fell into a spiral of depression, and found himself utterly isolated. But he was innocent—and here, for the first time, he speaks out," says the teaser. The story is due to go online this morning and hit newsstands Monday.
