This year's SPJ Distinguished Journalist honorees

The Greater Los Angeles chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists will honor five local journalists at a banquet on April 27. This year's winners are:

• Andrew Blankstein, staff writer at the Los Angeles Times
• Denise Nix, staff writer at the Daily Breeze
• Dave Lopez, Orange County Correspondent for CBS2/KCAL9
• Claudia Peschiutta, reporter for KNX 1070
• Celeste Fremon, author and creator of WitnessLA.com (Distinguished Work in New Media Award.)
