The Starbucks at L.A. Live is trying a three-month experiment of closing at 2 a.m. six nights a week. That's from Eric Richardson of Blogdowntown, who has been known to use that Starbucks as his office. (I've logged a few hours there too.) The Franklin Avenue blog bemoans the relative dearth of late-night coffee places around L.A.
