Channel 4 axes 11 a.m. newscast

kim-baldonado.jpgFirst the 11 a.m. news on KNBC hosted by Kim Baldonado was "suspended" during the Olympics. Now it's toast. "Taken off the schedule in order to reallocate resources,” says KNBC spokeswoman Erin Dittman. Baldonado will return to the general assignment reporter pool.

Add local TV: Esteban Creste, VP of News for KVEA-52 and KWHY-22 since July 2008, left Telemundo last week after 17 years, says Hispanic Media Moves.
