Village Books puts out the appeal again

village-books-logocrop.jpgIt has been a bit more than a year since Tom Hanks volunteered to help juice up business at Village Books, his local Pacific Palisades bookstore, when it needed a strong holiday season. Apparently this past holiday wasn't so great and the independent bookseller is asking again for its customers to stop in and buy something this weekend. From an email:

Frankly folks, our holiday season was a bust, and we are desperate to get some cash in the till, sooo
