Sandy Koufax will take to the stage in L.A.

Sandy Koufax is seldom seen at Dodger Stadium, let alone in Los Angeles. But on Feb. 27 he will sit on stage and chat with Dodgers manager Joe Torre at Nokia Theatre. Times columnist T.J. Simers will moderate, as he did between John Wooden and Vin Scully in 2007. It's for Torre's Safe at Home foundation, Simers explains. Tickets are $25 to $200 at Ticketmaster and went on internet presale today; the public sale begins tomorrow at noon.
