LA Observed

Internet Explorer bug should be fixed

The code conflict that has been causing LA Observed to act erratically (and sometimes crash) in Internet Explorer 8 seems to be repaired. Please let me know if you're still having troubles. Now if we can just get the videos to appear in IE 8 as desired. (Firefox, of course, no problem.)

By the way, the "compatibility view" setting that was introduced in in IE 8 pretty much cleared up the problems, if you knew to activate it. The snag was in the script that runs the share feature. As part of the fix, sharing an LA Observed post by email or on a social network like Twitter or Facebook is easier than ever.

Don't forget, you can also sign up to get a daily summary of LA Observed delivered by email every morning. Go here.
