Rushfield leaving Gawker?

Richard Rushfield, hired away from the L.A. Times just last July to be west coast editor for Gawker, is leaving for an entertainment start-up, says Dylan Stableford at The Wrap. The report is that Rushfield will be editorial consultant for the Digital Entertainment Corporation of America, founded in Santa Monica by Michael Wayne and Chris Kimbell, a pair of ex-Sony Pictures executives.
