Gratitude for saving Mt. Wilson


Firefighters from Tuolumne and Calaveras counties knew well the history and scientific treasure that was at stake when the Station Fire threatened the Mount Wilson Observatory. They made it their goal to save "the birthplace of modern astronomy," and KNBC's Conan Nolan was there when a grateful astrophysicist from Georgia came up the hill to say thanks. Nice piece.
