Times reporter William Lobdell, "The Wonder Years" by Rick Rickman and California Authors founder Donna Wares, "Shanghai Girls" by Lisa See, "Faces of Sunset Boulevard" by Patrick Ecclesine and "Eat: Los Angeles" by Colleen Dunn Bates.
