Times publisher Eddy Hartenstein is scheduled to speak with Warren Olney tonight at 7:30 p.m. on "Which Way, L.A.?" on KCRW. He's also on KPCC's "Patt Morrison" this afternoon, as noted in the Morning Buzz.
Angel City Press authors are signing books from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every day this week at the Central Library bookstore. I'll be there Thursday at lunch signing "Wilshire Boulevard" and "The San Fernando Valley," sitting beside ACP publisher Paddy Calistro, who will be signing "Edith Head's Hollywood: Twenty-fifth Anniversary Edition." We'll be on the street level in the center lobby.
I'll also be on KCET's Southern California Connected on Thursday at 8 p.m., giving a short commentary on Sam Zell, the L.A. Times and the future of news in Los Angeles.
LA Observed bloggers Mark Lacter and Bill Boyarsky join Times architecture critic Christopher Hawthorne and moderater Dana Cluff, UCLA professor of Architecture and Urban Design, at the Westside Urban Forum on Friday for the a look back at 2008. They're at the Regency Club in Westwood at 7:45 a.m.
