Traffic snarled by protests in Westwood *

Demonstrators upset by the passage of Proposition 8 began at the Mormon temple on Santa Monica Boulevard and have moved to Wilshire and Westwood boulevards, closing both streets. They're targeting the Church of Latter Day Saints for the contributions by Mormons to the campaign to stop same-sex marriage in California.

* Eastward bound: The protest has moved to Wilshire and Santa Monica in Beverly Hills, apparently destined for a roundtrip to the temple at Santa Monica and Overland (via Century City.)
