Eric Ulken, who recently left as editor for interactive technology at LATimes.com, shares some lessons learned with USC's Online Journalism Review. His main case study is the project to develop the interactive map that ran with Jill Leovy's Homicide Report blog (now on hiatus.) He offers ten pieces of advice for newsrooms, and says the post was OK'd by the Times.
