LA Observed

Headed for Irvine

Light posting today. I'm on a panel this afternoon at the UC Irvine Humanities Center, part of a conference they call "Public Spheres, Blogospheres" that's described as "conversations among important contemporary bloggers in the U.S. political and academic scene, focusing on the evolution of the public sphere, the political process and democratic participation in a digital age." The panel I'm on is about the election and is moderated by author Amy Wilentz, with Jon Wiener of UCI, KPFK and The Nation and Kevin Drum of Mother Jones.

LA Observed on KCRW, my weekly four-minute segment, airs at 4:44 pm.
