Taco trucks win a round

Carne asada is not a crimeThe Los Angeles County ordinance making it a misdemeanor for taco trucks to stay parked for longer than an hour was tossed out Wednesday by Superior Court Judge Dennis A. Aichrothby. He ruled that the law's requirements were unconstitutionally vague, and that the Board of Supervisors had not established that the limits were in the interest of public safety. A spokeswoman for Supervisor Gloria Molina said the county would appeal. SaveOurTacoTrucks.org celebrated on its website with a round of "give us tacos or give us death" and "carne asada is not a crime." LAT story
