Loh life weekend

This was the weekend that Sandra Tsing Loh's latest book, "Mother on Fire," got reviewed in the New York Times and her hometown Los Angeles Times. Both reviewers enjoyed the book and found it funny, but feature writer (and ex-Throttle Jockey columnist) Susan Carpenter's description in the LAT of Loh as a "cunning linguist" independently set off bloggers Patterico and Todd Everett and drew a reaction from Amy Alkon.
